Thank you. I needed to hear this as I set out to attend a church today for the first time after leaving my old one as an elderly person alone.

Linda, I pray the Lord would lead you to the right church. When you find it, they are going to love on you, and I pray you make wonderful Christian friendships! I know it is so hard. Be strong in the faith.

Amen! Love this. It reminds me of one of my favorite worship songs "No Turning Back" by Steffany Gretzinger. Thank you for sharing this!

Kate your article goes well with this Sunday’s gospel lesson from Matthew 7:15

““Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

"Their message may be popular, but fame doesn’t equal truth." Good thought.

One of my constant prayers is from Phil 1--that we have discernment to approve what is best or excellent. This is so God's people do not fall in with the cool kids and away from Him. Keep following!

Amen. Kate. thanks for reminding me to keep following Jesus, even if sometimes I may be walking against the crowd and not with the crowd. " I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back. No turning back!"

Keep up the great work of writing for the kingdom!

Jesus also taught us to be salt and light, so we must share our faith with others, even if we are just planting seeds.
