When I have been stuck in a waiting room for longer than 10 minutes, I start going through all the drawers and opening cabinet doors. It’s amazing how fast they come in.

This really hits home. Waiting can be so hard, but it's comforting to know that God's timing is perfect. Thank you for this beautiful reminder.

Supposed to make an appointment for a cardiologist visit.

Didn't go well last time, so I'm not calling yet.

Rec'd the letter a week ago.

I sure hope it goes better than last time and you don't have to wait long! My cardiologist is always running late. I always know I will wait at least 30 minutes for him.

or maybe just forgotten period. Need cough syrup, The doctor says they sent the prescription, but the drug store said they didn’t receive it. The finger pointing is about three miles, and I am in the middle without cough syrup. My wife gets tired of the coughing and makes some lemon, honey, tea and whiskey. It works but I am hammered most of the day.

I did get forgotten once. Three hours. I suspect they went to lunch totally forgetting I was there. God does not forget. He is always there. Even when we don’t want to hear from Him.

You are right. Our healthcare system just keeps crumbling. I was just scheduled to see a specialist, they had a 6 month wait.

Too often while I am waiting, I begin to feel like I am at the bottom of God's to-do list, and that can lead to depression and loss of trust. But He's not sitting around twiddling His thumbs waiting for me to get things exactly right so He can answer; He's simply setting things up behind the scenes to give His very best answer. You are so right. God will never forget about you and me!

We are so used to things happening instantly, waiting becomes harder and harder. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment Mary!

Reminds me of the song by John Waller, “While I’m waiting!” I thank God that as we wait, though very hard at times, we can be confident in knowing that His timing is perfect. 🙏❤️
